How do I set up communications consents?

If you would like to get permission from your customers on how you are allowed to contact them, you can do this using the Communications Consents functionality in Kids Club HQ.

As soon as you set up your communications consent options, new customers will be asked to positively consent to the ways in which you can contact them when they register a log in account and existing customers will be asked to positively consent when they next log in.

To set up your communications consent settings, click on the Administration option in the top navigation bar, then click on Organisation Settings.

Select the Comms Consents tab and you will see the current settings.

First time setup

If you have not previously set up communications consents, you will be prompted to do this on the Comms Consents tab:

Click the link to set your initial options:

Once you have updated the introductory message for your customers and the methods of communication you would like to offer, click Enable Communications Preferences.

The Comms Consents tab will then show the options you have chosen and these will be available to customers in the booking system. New customers will be asked to positively consent to the ways in which you can contact them when they register a log in account and existing customers will be asked to positively consent when they next log in.

You can change the introductory message for your customers by clicking Communications Actions… then Change Intro Message…:

Once you have made your changes, click Save Intro Message. These updates will then be effective in the booking system immediately.

To change the communications methods for your customers to choose from, click Communications Actions… then Change Communication Methods…:
